On June 9, 2025 the head of the Health and Human Services at the federal government Robert Kennedy fired all seventeen members of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP).

According to Kennedy, each member was appointed by the Biden administration as part of a “concerted effort to lock in public health ideology” and to limit the Trump administration from taking “the proper actions to restore public trust in vaccines.” ACIP members usually serve four-year terms. Because 13 appointees took their seats in 2024, without the complete ouster, the committee would not have had a Kennedy-selected majority until 2028.

“A clean sweep is necessary to reestablish public confidence in vaccine science,” Kennedy said in the HHS release. He will be responsible for appointing the new committee members, which are scheduled to meet from June 25 to June 27 to discuss a slate of vaccines, including those for anthrax, chikungunya, COVID-19, cytomegalovirus, influenza and HPV.

All the usual suspects on the left, including members of Congress and in the propaganda press, immediately went into a hissy-fit, claiming Kennedy’s action was “politicizing the ACIP,” even though it is blatantly obvious that Biden had made his 2024 appointments, just before the election, for his own political reasons.

Politics aside, however, the real reason to dump these Biden-era appointees is that they were also part of the “intellectual” cabal that foisted jab mandates, mask mandates, six-foot social distancing, and lockdowns on everyone. None of these policies were based on any proven science research, and in fact they violated decades of infectious disease policy that recommended doing the exact opposite, across the board.

Worse, there is now clear evidence [pdf] that these same people demanded the imposition of jab mandates, even though they were well aware at the time that the jab caused serious side effects that killed. As noted in this June 11, 2025 report:

Recall that in 2021, then-President Joe Biden and his appointees claimed—in the teeth of emerging evidence—that the COVID-19 vaccines would prevent infection. They ignored or downplayed the power of natural immunity and then falsely insisted that the pandemic was a “pandemic of the unvaccinated”; a claim that was obviously untrue in the daily experience of millions of Americans. And finally, they tried to impose an unprecedented vaccine mandate on 80 million private employers and employees, an illegal diktat struck down by the Supreme Court.

This series of measures not only undermined public confidence in the COVID-19 vaccine and public health officials but also contributed to a broader vaccine hesitancy, a profoundly dangerous development.

Worse, Team Biden ignored or downplayed crucial evidence of adverse COVID-19 vaccine reactions. Because of Kennedy’s promise of full transparency, we have proof. He delivered 2,473 pages of previously withheld records to Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., chair of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations.

Johnson subsequently published an explosive report revealing that in early 2021 Israel’s Ministry of Health told Biden administration officials that their own comprehensive data showed a “large number” of myocarditis cases among young people. An internal federal working group then received data indicating a “safety signal” for myocarditis among persons aged 16 to 24 years of age. By May 2021, the Senate report proves, Biden administration officials had ample reason to warn the public about the dangers of vaccine-induced myocarditis. They failed to do so. [emphasis mine]

None of this is really a surprise if you had had an open mind in 2020-2022 and had been paying attention. I reported the growing data about jab-caused myocarditis in young people as early as June 2022.

Our bankrupt “intellectual class”

The real take-away from Kennedy’s actions and the lies of these CDCs officials from 2020-2022 is how it proves the utter bankruptcy and dishonesty of our so-called “elite” intellectual class. When faced with clear evidence that their policies were wrong and were killing people, they were incapable of processing that reality. Instead, they not only lied about what they knew, they doubled down on those policies, pushing the jab mandate even harder.

A house-cleaning was certainly in order, and it is grand that Kennedy appears willing to do it.

These facts also demonstrate the bankruptcy of America’s “elite” universities. All of these people were educated in such places, such as Harvard, Yale, and so forth. Yet all appear to have gotten nothing from that expensive education. Instead they graduated from those schools as fools who are unable to think critically or honestly.

Thus, Kennedy’s actions this week are barely a start. A lot more people within the entire government health industry need to be removed, and as quickly as possible.

Nor is the problem limited to the health field. This bankruptcy can be seen at all levels of government and intellectual life, throughout the nation. It is a bankruptcy so deep and profound that most of our “intellectual elites” can’t distinguish the difference between someone who came to this country legally, and those who snuck in illegally, breaking the law. They are so incapable of critical thinking that they can’t recognize a lawless riot by anti-American invaders, even when it is right before their eyes.

More important, we need to build an entirely new generation of thinkers. What we have now is an government class incapable of doing anything but push their policies blindly, even when faced with evidence that proves those policies are promoting death and destruction. What we need are new leaders who have been educated to think critically and honestly, to pursue the truth wherever it may lead, even if that truth proves them wrong. To do this however will require new universities and a different education system, as our government-based system today is a disaster.

Home-school your kids. And when it comes time for them to attend college, think hard about where you send them. The so-called elite universities are garbage, despite their long storied history. Consider schools with ranked high in supporting free speech (something no Ivy League school believes in). Pick schools that support freedom, western civilization, and rigorous intellectual training. Avoid schools that advocate blacklisting and bigoted racial quotas.

Above, don’t be lazy. Recognize that to restore our nation is going to take decades of work. It can be done, but only if Americans recognize the problem with an open-mind and take action.

If not, the future was amply displayed this week in Los Angeles by the image to the right. These violent pro-illegal protesters were clearly hostile to the rule of law and everything the United States and western civilization has always stood for. They made their loyalties to other nations and other ideologies — including Marxist, Hamas, and communism — imminently clear.

Is that what you want for your children and grand-children?

Fight! Fight! Fight! The announcement late yesterday that president-elect Donald Trump has picked Jay Bhattacharya, the director of Stanford University’s Center for Demography and Economics of Health and Aging, to head the National Institutes of Health (NIH) underlined quite forcefully the certainty that the outsider nature of all of Trump’s picks to head all the health-related agencies in the federal government will led to major changes in how those agencies operate.

Bhattacharya had been blacklisted for his very vocal opposition to the government’s lockdown and mandate policies during the COVID epidemic. He along with Martin Kulldorff, one of the world’s foremost experts on vaccines and who was also blacklisted during the epidemic, co-authored the Great Barrington Declaration that strongly criticized the policies imposed by these health agencies, calling instead for a return to the standard response to infectious diseases that had been followed successfully for more than a century.

Putting Bhattacharya in charge of NIH is incredibly ironic. When he along with Kulldorff had come out opposed to the lockdown and jab mandates advocated by Francis Collins, then-head of the NIH, Collins in league with Anthony Fauci, then head of National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), put together a back-room campaign to have Bhattacharya, Kulldorff, and many others blacklisted across social media. This campaign also had Kulldorff removed as a member of the CDC’s vaccine safety advisory committee.

Two years later, Collins is now gone, is being sued for his actions, and Bhattacharya has replaced him.

Trump’s defiant choice of Bhattacharya however is only one of many similar decisions, beginning last month with the choice of Robert Kennedy Jr. to run the Department of Health and Human Services.

On Tuesday the president-elect also nominated Jim O’Neill – a former federal health official and close ally of conservative donor Peter Thiel – as deputy secretary of the health department. … Trump has also picked Marty Makary, a Johns Hopkins surgeon who opposed the Covid-19 vaccine mandate, to run the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Dave Weldon, a physician and former Republican congressman who has also cast doubt on vaccine safety, was picked to run the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Kennedy and O’Neill’s department of health would oversee the agencies run by Makary, Weldon and Bhattacharya, but all five need to be confirmed by the Senate.

Last week Trump also nominated TV personality Dr Mehmet Oz to be the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services administrator.

All have to be confirmed by the Senate, but we should not expect that to be a problem. Not only is the Senate controlled by Republicans, the public is firmly in favor of Trump’s actions here. It is unlikely the opposition in the Senate will be strong enough to block their approval.

More important, every single one of these picks were very vocal opponents of the disastrous and scientifically wrong policies imposed by these agencies during the epidemic. Every single one of them will now be in a position to force major change at these agencies, and they will be able to do so in tandem, working together to fight off any resistance by the bureaucrats below them.

Making the government once again use the Truth booth

Expect major changes to come fast and furious in the government health community. Expect significant cuts in staffing, and a major change in how grants are issued, and to whom. Above all, expect a radical change in the health advice these agencies issue to the public. No longer will the COVID jab be promoted blindly. No longer will mask and social distancing be advocated, since neither accomplish anything, and the former can actually increase the chances you will get sick.

Instead, these new appointees will simply go back to the standard advice given for decades before the COVID panic made people lose their minds. Wash your hands, quarantine the sick only, and let new respiratory illnesses spread quickly through the rest of the population in order to bring about herd immunity as fast as possible and thus best protect the elderly and chronically ill from such diseases.

Or to put it another way, the government will no longer be using fear to justify a grab for power. It will instead be following what is known and issuing advice based on that actual knowledge.

What a concept!

Three stories this week illustrate once again that not only did none of the governmental actions imposed by our “betters” during the COVID panic in 2020 work, they are now resulting in long term harm across large populations.

First there was a study of 1.7 million children that found a marked increase in serious heart problems in children who got the jab.

Their research confirmed a large body of evidence showing links between the COVID-19 shots and myocarditis and pericarditis, particularly in adolescents. The research also confirmed that even in 2021, when the vaccine was first authorized for children and teens, that age group did not face a high risk for COVID-19-related serious outcomes, including death or the need for emergency care, hospitalization or critical care.

You can read the paper here [pdf]. Fortunately, the study also found no deaths in either group from these heart conditions, and that new heart ailments among the jabbed children were rare. Nonetheless, the study found solid evidence that the jab caused some harm while doing little to prevent COVID. As noted in the first link:

“This study clearly shows that Pfizer’s COVID vaccine provides almost no benefit to children and adolescents, but does increase their risk of myocarditis and pericarditis,” said Brian Hooker, Ph.D., chief scientific officer of Children’s Health Defense. “It begs the question: Why does the CDC continue to recommend these unlicensed shots for kids? Where is the data they use to support their statement that the benefits of these vaccines outweigh the risks?”

This first study was then supplemented by the results of a second study, which confirmed once again what has been known for almost a century, that masks are not only useless in blocking respiratory viruses like COVID, in children they do harm.

The highest quality evidence available for masking children for COVID-19 or other viral respiratory infections has failed to find a beneficial impact against transmission. Mechanistic studies showing reduced viral transmission from use of face masks and respirators have not translated to real world effectiveness.

Identified harms of masking include negative effects on communication and components of speech and language, ability to learn and comprehend, emotional and trust development, physical discomfort, and reduction in time and intensity of exercise.

The study covered all these issues in detail, and was blunt in its condemnation of the actions of American health officials, noting for example that the CDC’s “child masking recommendations deviated substantially from international guidelines.” Those guidelines were once again based on decades of research that showed masks as useless in these matters, and potentially harmful. Yet even now “the CDC continues to recommend masks for children down to age two in certain settings, and this is in the absence of strategies for exiting these restrictions.” And it maintains these recommendations lacking any scientific research to justify them.

In other words, to the CDC data is irrelevant. All that matters is its power to order people around.

The third study comes out of South Korea. It found that excess death skyrocketed after it mandated that its entire population get jabbed.

South Korea’s almost universally Covid-vaccinated population has suffered a staggering five-fold surge in excess deaths since Covid mRNA shots were rolled out for public use.

The paper’s data was even more shocking.

[E]xcess deaths were estimated at 0.3% for 2020, 4.0% for 2021, and 20.7% for 2022.

The paper noted that the large increase in excess deaths was mostly among the young, in their 20s, and attributed this increase to many factors, conveniently omiting any mention of the jab. As noted at the first link,

Interestingly, however, the researchers did not mention Covid “vaccines” once in their report, despite the previous correlation. The link should be investigated.

It will not, however, due to insidious pandemic politics involving government, academia, and industry. A fear of a backlash from promoting “vaccine hesitancy” possibly superseded credible, and urgently needed scientific inquiry.

“WE ARE NEVER WRONG!”

All in all, the data continues to show two things. First, the response to COVID by academia and the government and prompted by emotion, panic, and a great deal of unrelative political motives was an unmitigated disaster. Second, there is a marked reluctance to face this reality by those same academics and government officials, because they themselves promoted these bad policies, and to recognize these awful consequences would require them to admit they were terribly terribly wrong, and were obviously wrong from day one.

Such an admission of error by our modern intellectual community is forbidden. They are never wrong, ever, and if you dare question them you are either “racist” or advocating “conspiracy theories.”

Several stories in the past week illustrate how the medical community dug itself a deep hole with its dishonest panic and over-reaction to COVID and its response to it.

First the background from 2020: Rather than follow past very successful policies involving new epidemics, whereby only the sick and aged were quarantined while everyone else went about their normal lives, intentionally spreading the new respiratory virus to those with which it was relatively harmless so that the entire population could quickly get herd immunity and thus quickly choke the virus out, our modern medical community, in conjunction with government health officials who had political motives, chose to quarantine everyone, destroying the economy and the livelihoods of millions while actually allowing the disease time to spread to the aged and sick, killing many more than were necessary.

Numerous studies have confirmed the failure of the lockdown and mandate policies during COVID. Sweden for example essentially followed those traditional policies, never locking down or mandating masks or shots. It was blasted for that decision, with many in the health community predicting massive deaths from COVID. Instead, studies have now proven that Sweden had the lowest mortality in Europe from 2020–2022.

That’s the background. The new stories this week illustrate the consequences. First, a recent peer-reviewed study found that trust in doctors has crashed since 2020. The numbers are quite shocking:

A new paper in JAMA analyzes survey respondents in the US over the period of time right after the Covid pandemic started in April 2020 and through early 2024. It reveals a significant decline in trust in physicians and hospitals, dropping from 71.5% in April 2020, to 40.1% in January 2024. Lower trust levels were strongly associated with reduced likelihood of receiving Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters. [emphasis mine]

The study dances around the issue of COVID, but it is there. For example, one reason patients no longer trust doctors is because they believe “decisions in healthcare are unduly influenced by pharmaceutical companies, government entities, or other external powers. This includes suspicions of dishonesty or withholding information for nonmedical reasons.”

With time and reflection, the general public has recognized that too many health officials and doctors lied to them about almost everything relating to COVID. It is going to take a lot of work by those same officials and doctors to win back that trust. Sadly, it is my sense that many officials and doctors have decided they don’t need to do that work, that their patients are fools, and that spreading more lies is the best way to respond to this distrust.

This next story is therefore not surprising. According to the mainstream somewhat leftist media outlet Axios, Modena is scaling back its vaccine research plans because of the sharp decline in sales of its COVID shot.

The company’s second-quarter revenue totaled $241 million, a 43% drop from a year earlier, which it said was “primarily attributable to decreased sales of the Company’s COVID-19 vaccine.” The upshot is that Moderna isn’t expected to turn a profit until 2028, according to a research note by Jefferies analyst Michael Yee cited by CNBC.

The jab never really worked, but it did cause a tragic increase in serious heart disease and cancer, killing many at young ages that would have easily survived the COVID flu had they simply not been forced to get the jab. In fact, even with the jab many of these jab victims still got COVID. These facts help explain why the Florida Department of Health today recommended against getting any mRNA COVID jabs this fall or winter.

[T]he Florida Health Department expressed concern over the “lack” of clinical trial data specific to newly-approved COVID-19 boosters. The vaccines target an Omicron variant, which is currently responsible for a limited number of infections, the department said – and are not designed to protect against the dominant strain of COVID-19 in the U.S., which accounts for roughly 37% of cases.

State officials also said that there is limited data on whether these boosters provide meaningful protection. The statement raised additional concerns over the federal government’s decision not to require manufacturers to demonstrate the boosters’ effectiveness in preventing hospitalizations or death. Florida also warned of safety risks, including the potential of prolonged circulation of mRNA and spike protein, potential increased risk of respiratory infections, autoimmune diseases after vaccination and heart issues.

The 17 colleges still requiring the jab

You’d think that by now so-called “intellectual elites” would have recognized these facts and stopped genuflecting to the altar of the COVID jab. If you did, you would be wrong. As I noted above, the response of too many of our “intellectual elites” on the subject of COVID is to stick their heads in the sand. As of September 5, 2024 there were still seventeen universities in the United States requiring students to get the jab or a booster in order to attend classes. The list is to the right. Note too that as recently as July 2, 2024 this list was twenty-two, meaning that even years of data proving the jab ineffective almost two dozen college administrations were reluctant to face reality.

More evidence that we should not only have skepticism about our doctors and health officials, we should have grave doubts about the students who graduate from these colleges.

In fact, the evidence suggests that our country’s intellectual “elite” community is completely bankrupt, corrupt, and unreliable. It seems it is far better to get one’s data from ordinary people on social media, since it appears those individuals are more likely to face facts and analyze from reality.

Bring a gun to a knife fight: A jury has now awarded Tanja Benton, a former BlueCross research scientist, $687,000 in back pay and punitive damages against BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee for firing her vindicatively in 2021 after she asked for an exemption from getting the COVID jab due to religious concerns.

I call the firing vindicative because by all measures, the fact tell us it was so.

Hamill [Benton’s attorney] said Benton’s job rarely involved direct interaction with clients, with only 1% of her total annual working hours involving client interaction. In the lawsuit, Hamill said Benton “never performed any work or attended any meetings in medical facilities where patients were being treated” and “physical in-person interaction with co-workers was never a job requirement.”

Moreover, for nineteen months prior to her firing, Benton had done all her work remotely, as ordered by BlueCross itself due to the COVID panic. As noted in her lawsuit:

From March 16, 2020 through the end of heremployment, Plaintiff performed 100 percent of her job duties remotely from home without any problems or complaints from anyone. During this 19-month work-from-home period, Plaintiff conducted all client meetings by remote means. No client expressed any concerns or problems about remote interactions, nor did any client express a desire for Plaintiff to have physical in-person interactions with them.

When Benton requested a religious exemption from getting the jab, BlueCross denied it, claiming “an essential job function [of her job] is regular external public-facing interactions” and “[t]here are no exceptions” to company’s mandatory vaccine policy.

It gave her the option to find other work at the company, but gave her few opportunities to do so and then quickly followed up by firing her.

In other words, though it made no rational or logical sense, BlueCross demanded Benton get the jab or be fired.

The jury also recognized the vindicativeness of BlueCross’s actions and very quickly ruled in Benton’s favor (the entire trial only lasted three days), awarding her $177,240 in back pay, $10,000 in compensation, and $500,000 in punitive damages.

The mentality of the lockdown/mask/jab crowd

It would be wonderful if we could say that BlueCross’s behavior during the COVID panic was a rare thing, but if we did we would be lying. If anything, BlueCross’s behavior was par for the course. The lockdown/mask/jab despots were routinely vicious and unwavering in demanding everyone comply with their often utterly stupid decrees, and if you even expressed a simple question about their orders, they attacked you savagely, sometimes publishing ugly slanders against you. If that didn’t shut you up, they blackballed you, as BlueCross did to Benton.

Benton’s victory here is likely to only be the first against BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. The company fired 41 people for refusing the jab, and it fired those people in October and November 2021, mere weeks before the state passed a law forbidding such action. In every case, BlueCross treated those individuals as viciously as it treated Benton.

Such victories are devoutly to be wished, not just against this one company but against the entire lockdown/mask/jab crowd. Those petty dictators did great harm to many innocent people, for no good reason, and justice demands they be forced to accept some responsibility for that harm in some manner, as BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee has now been forced to do.

The state of Kansas yesterday filed a detailed suit against the pharmaceutical company Pfizer over the many lies and misrepresentations it pushed as it rolled out its COVID jab, such as hiding the actual documented “adverse events”, including many deaths, that occurred after people got jabbed.

Pfizer misled the public that it had a “safe and effective” COVID-19 vaccine.

• Pfizer said its COVID-19 vaccine was safe even though it knew its COVID-19 vaccine was connected to serious adverse events, including myocarditis and pericarditis, failed pregnancies, and deaths. Pfizer concealed this critical safety information from the public.
• Pfizer said its COVID-19 vaccine was effective even though it knew its COVID-19 vaccine waned over time and did not protect against COVID-19 variants. Pfizer concealed this critical effectiveness information from the public.
• Pfizer said its COVID-19 vaccine would prevent transmission of COVID-19 even though it knew it never studied the effect of its vaccine on transmission of COVID-19.
• To keep the public from learning the truth, Pfizer worked to censor speech on social media that questioned Pfizer’s claims about its COVID-19 vaccine.

The lawsuit has lots of juicy factoids. For example, Pfizer kept its own database of adverse events after people took its jab, and lied about that data to the public.

As of February 28, 2021, Pfizer’s adverse events database contained 158,893 adverse events (from 42,086 case reports) from its COVID-19 vaccine. As of February 28, 2021, Pfizer’s database contained 1,223 fatalities after taking Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, although Pfizer did not make causality findings.

Pfizer was receiving so many adverse event reports that it had to hire 600 additional full-time staff and expected to hire more than 1,800 additional resources by June 2021. Pfizer had such a backlog of adverse events that it might take 90 days to code “non-serious cases.”

Yet, on April 1, 2021, the company issued a press release insisting it knew of “no serious safety concerns through up to six months following second dose.” It repeated this claim numerous times over the coming months.

Furthermore, the lawsuit notes that Pfizer’s dishonest actions in connection with its COVID jab violated earlier consent judgments from previous state lawsuits in 2008, 2012, and 2014, which demanded the company stop making false statements about the safety of its drugs.

The state is demanding $20,000 for each violation of the 2008, 2012, and 2014 consent agreements as well as $10,000 for each violation of Kansas’s consumer protection laws, all of which could add up to many millions of dollars in penalties.

The facts here reveal something fundamental however about this drug company: It is dishonest, untrustworthy, and considers itself above the law. Why would anyone trust any of the drugs it manufactures, ever?

In reviewing the many different government actions taken during the COVID epidemic aimed at slowing the spread of the virus, scientists have found that none of these policies accomplished anything.

No matter how we approached these questions, the primary finding was lack of definitive patterns that could support claims about governmental policy impacts. About half the time, government policies were followed by better Covid-19 outcomes, and half of the time they were not. The findings were sometimes contradictory, with some policies appearing helpful when tested one way, and the same policy appearing harmful when tested another way. No claims about the relationship between government responses and pandemic outcomes held generally. Looking at stay-at-home policies and school closures, about half the time it looked like Covid-19 outcomes improved after their imposition, and half the time they got worse. Every policy, Covid-19 outcome, time period, and modeling approach yielded a similar level of uncertainty: about half the time it looked like things got better, and half the time like things got worse.

…Yet scientists used these data to make definitive conclusions.

Claims that government responses made Covid-19 worse are not broadly true, and the same goes for claims that government responses were useless or ineffective. Claims that government responses help reduce the burden of Covid-19 are also not true. What is true is that there is no strong evidence to support claims about the impacts of the policies, one way or the other.

The bottom line — which has been obvious from day one of the panic — is that any claims of certain knowledge and success by any government official was a lie. This was especially true — and noted here and in numerous conservative news sites repeatedly — when government agencies like the CDC would willy-nilly change its guidelines even though there had been no additional published research justifying those changes.

The best example was the CDC’s guidelines on masks. For decades health agencies clearly stated, based on actual research going back almost a century, that masks were not only useless but a risk for those with heart and lung conditions. Suddenly, with no further data, the guidelines were changed and masks were the best thing since sliced bread.

Similarly the guidelines on social distancing would change over and over again, even though there was literally no data to support that measure, and continues to be none (as now admitted by Anthony Fauci this week when pressed during congressional hearings). In fact, no research was ever done, and it appears the idea of social distancing actually came from a high school science fair project that the entire edifice of government petty dictators glommed onto in glee.

All of this raises a more fundamental question: Why do so many people so quickly accept government claims, on anything? And why do so many people continue to assume these same dishonest government officials can fix any problem?

Government officials generally know little about anything, other than how to tell others what to do. Such people are the last people we should ask for advice.

Two stories this week both add weight to the growing pile of evidence in the past two years that the COVID jab not only did little to prevent the spread of that flu-like virus, it caused more deaths than it prevented.

First, research from Oxford University in Great Britain that studied more one million children aged 5 to 11 found that only those who got the jab would develop myocarditis and pericarditis.

The study did note that this study recorded no deaths from these heart conditions, but one must wonder what the parents of those young children think about that. You used to have a healthy kid who after getting the jab now has a serious heart condition that certainly has the potential of shortening that child’s life.

While the study found the jab seemed to reduce COVID in adolescents, it made no different for younger children. “Vaccinated children … were not substantially different from unvaccinated children in terms of COVID-19 infection and hospitalization.”

In other words, the jab overall did more harm then good among young children. And the harm was significant.

Next, research in the Netherlands of the continuing rise of excess deaths worldwhile strongly suggests once again that it is the jab itself that might be causing it.

The study found that across Europe, the US and Australia there had been more than one million excess deaths in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, but also 1.2 million in 2021 and 800,000 and 2022 after measures were implemented. Researchers said the figure included deaths from Covid-19, but also the “indirect effects of the health strategies to address the virus spread and infection”.

They warned that side effects linked to the Covid vaccine have included ischaemic stroke, acute coronary syndrome and brain haemorrhage, cardiovascular diseases, coagulation, haemorrhages, gastrointestinal events and blood clotting.

German researchers have pointed out that the onset of excess mortality in early 2021 in the country coincided with the rollout of vaccines, which the team said “warranted further investigation”.

The study looked at data from 47 western nations and found the trend of excess deaths has continued, even though the epidemic is long over.

Linking these excess deaths to the jab remains uncertain, but the scientists complain that this uncertainty is because many governments have been acting to block research and hide data. Their paper demands this intransigence must end.

More than 30,000 pages of emails provided to a House subcommittee from the man who worked under Anthony Fauci have revealed a deliberate effort by Fauci and many others at NIH to delete and hide evidence that showed Fauci’s connections with the creation and leak of the COVID virus from the lab in Wuhan.

A top adviser at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) deleted records critical to uncovering the origins of COVID-19 — and used a “secret back channel” to help Dr. Anthony Fauci and a federal grantee that funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan, China, evade transparency.

NIH senior adviser Dr. David Morens improperly conducted official government business from his private email account and solicited help from the NIH’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) office to dodge records requests, according to emails revealed in a memo by the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, which The Post obtained Wednesday.

“[I] learned from our foia [sic] lady here how to make emails disappear after I am foia’d [sic] but before the search starts,” Morens wrote in a Feb. 24, 2021, email. “Plus I deleted most of those earlier emails after sending them to gmail [sic].”

As early as June 2020, only weeks after the full Wuhan panic had begun, Morens wrote the following to Peter Daszek, the man who used grant money awarded by Fauci to fund the dangerous infectious research at Wuhan and whose company Ecohealth Alliance has been suspended from all funding due to violations of NIH policy while doing this work.

“We are all smart enough to know to never have smoking guns, and if we did we wouldn’t put them in emails and if we found them we’d delete them.”

Morens worked under Fauci from 1998 to 2022. Repeatedly he encouraged those involved in this cover-up to delete all evidence and to illegally use non-government email accounts to communicate. At one point he even joked, in writing, how he deserved a reward for this work. “Do I get a kickback????”

From day one these guys knew they were culpable for the origins of COVID. They might not have created it themselves, but they were willing to send funds to do this work to a lab controlled by a hostile power, China, under almost no supervision. China was quite willing then to use this funding to design the virus, and possibly even release it for its own political ends.

In other words, they had helped fund the creation of COVID, and knew if this fact got out they would be in deep trouble. So they tried to cover it up, including using the power of the federal government to blackball and censor anyone who raised the right questions.

Prison terms for these traitors would probably be too nice. Sadly, they will probably all die in their beds, in big expensive homes paid for by their very big federal salaries and the consulting fees they earned for their work in helping bring billions of profits to the companies who made the COVID jabs.

Oh, and by the way, a new study has found that masks were utterly useless in protecting anyone from COVID since the end of 2021. The study cites inconclusive earlier evidence that suggested masks may have helped prior to that time, but once COVID mutated to the omicron strains masks did nothing at all.

As for that earlier evidence, it remains unconfirmed and in fact counter to the more than 100 years of previous research that found masks ineffective in protecting anyone from respiratory viruses. During the Wuhan panic some mask advocates in the science community put together quick ad hoc projects attempting to prove the effectiveness of masks, all of which were poorly designed and easily questioned.

The WHO advisory on the use of masks to the right still holds. Unless you use them with extreme care, they are less than useless, and actually unsanitary and act to increase your chances of getting sick. And even if you do use them right, they do nothing to stop the virus from getting to you.

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in 2021 required COVID-19 vaccination of all students and employees. It initially offered religious exemptions to anyone who checked a box, but it later stated that administrators would “only recognize religious exemptions based on religious beliefs whose teachings are opposed to all immunizations.”

Officials, for instance, said Christian Scientists would qualify for an exemption but Buddhists would not. They also said exemptions would be granted only to people who never received any vaccinations.

Medical exemptions, on the other hand, were available if a doctor said the prospective recipient’s health or life would be endangered.

College officials would also reject exemptions solely on their own opinion on whether the applicant’s religion was really against vaccinations or not.

The court’s ruling now allows the lawsuit of seventeen students and employees to go forward.

“We asked Dr. Fauci where the six feet came from and he said it kind of just appeared, is the quote,” the majority counsel on the committee told Dr. Collins, per the transcript. “Do you recall science or evidence that supported the six-feet distance?”

“I do not,” Collins replied.

Counsel then asked, “Is that I do not recall or I do not see any evidence supporting six feet?”

To which Collins replied “I did not see evidence, but I’m not sure I would have been shown evidence at that point.”

“Since then, it has been an awfully large topic. Have you seen any evidence since then supporting six feet?” Counsel replied.

“No,” said Collins.

None of this is a surprise to those who were paying attention. Back in August 2020 I reported how there was no scientific evidence backing up the six-foot social distancing rule, and that in fact it appears it came from a high school research project that was not based on actual data but on a computer simulation comparable to SIM City.

Even now, the CDC continues to recommend the 6-foot spacing rule, though those rules are based on nothing more than the opinion of some petty dictator in the bureaucracy.

During the entire COVID panic I complained repeatedly about the lack of scientific evidence. Every time the CDC or the government would change its rules, I’d ask, “What new research has appeared to justify this change?” Of course, there never was any new research. These petty goons simply made it up as they went along.

ALL OF THE 80+ municipal citations of violations of a governor’s order, public nuisance, disturbing the peace, and operating without a license against us have been dropped by the courts WITH prejudice. This means the State has NO ability to revisit or refile these charges.

This victory opens the battlefield again and gives us options to continue to push back and bring justice to the treasonous actions of Phil Murphy and his lackies.

The first paragraph above suggests the owners now have legal grounds to sue Murphy and the state for illegal harassment and false prosecution. The second paragraph says that they intend to.

The owners in 2022 had already gotten their business license reinstated. In the interim they had managed to keep the gym functioning by asking, and getting, donations from those who used it.

I pray they proceed in court with as many lawsuits as possible against all the government officials involved in this bad behavior, including the local police, who at one point changed the locks on their building and boarded up the gym, thus allowing the plumbing to back up.

Since the very beginning of the COVID panic in 2020 many perfectly reasonable people, both inside and outside the medical community, suggested that COVID was artifically created and that the evidence strongly suggested its source was from a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Worse, the evidence suggested that this work was partly funded by the United States itself — approved by federal bureaucrats like Anthony Fauci — that funnelled government contracts to China to do dangerous infectious disease research which that hostile nation could then use against us.

Unfortunately, those individuals found themselves routinely mocked as pushing a “rightwing COVID conspiracy theory,” with many finding their careers destroyed by blacklisting. During those dark times it was forbidden to ask any questions that went against the leftist government narrative that pushed the myths that COVID was a deadly perfectly natural disease, that lockdowns, masks, and social distancing were the only ways to stop it, and that in the end only the COVID jab could cure it.

We now know without question that those accepted wisdoms, enforced by brutal intolerance, were all wrong, and that the blackballed individuals who advocated otherwise were 100% correct.

Or to put it more bluntly, the only difference between a “rightwing conspiracy theory” and the truth is a few months.

This week we got another proof of this apt saying.

Federal officials today suspended federal funding for the EcoHealth Alliance, possibly dealing a mortal blow to a U.S. research nonprofit that has been under fire since early in the COVID-19 pandemic. The group has been the focus of concerns that SARS-CoV-2 may have emerged from bat virus research funded by the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH) and conducted by EcoHealth’s collaborators in Wuhan, China.

In a letter to the New York City organization, an official for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), NIH’s parent agency, informed the group it is suspended from all federal funding programs and that the department is proposing to formally debar—or ban—the organization from receiving future funding. Grants from NIH and other U.S agencies provide the bulk of its budget, which was about $14 million in 2022.

it is far better if it wins out in the beginning

EcoHealth Alliance is the company run by Peter Daszak, who has been at the center of this scandal from day one. Emails have shown that he and Fauci worked to squelch any effort to publicize EcoHeath and its subcontracts with the Wuhan lab, to the point of outright lying before Congress.

This suspension seems wholly deserved, not simply because Daszak and the company lied to the public about what it was doing. It appears the company was also incompetent, submitting reports late, mismanaging its grants, and doing sloppy work on dangerous drugs that should have required a much higher level of security.

The bottom line remains: Everything government officials and their boot-licking minons in the mainstream media said during the Wuhan panic was wrong. If you wanted to find out the truth, you needed to go to outsiders, many of whom were finding their lives destroyed because they refused to submit to the official narrative. To them, all that mattered was the truth.

This is a lesson I hope many naive Americans will take to heart, the next time they are told by the powers-in-charge to obey their orders, without question.

The pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has now officially withdrawn its COVID “vaccine” from the market because it apparently sometimes causes severe blood clots that cause death. (I put “vaccine” in quotes because none of these jabs were ever vaccines, because they could not stop the virus in any meaningful way.)

In court documents filed with the High Court in February, the company admitted that the vaccine “can, in very rare cases, cause TTS.”

TTS stands for Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome and has been linked to at least 81 deaths in the UK with hundreds of serious injuries being reported. More than 50 people have sued the company over deaths and injuries related to the vaccine. The company has said that withdrawing the vaccine from the market is not related to the court case.

It appears the company has known these facts for quite awhile, but because governments have given it complete immunity, it had no compunction to withdraw the drug sooner. It was making too much money from it, in the billions, and it knew that any damage claims would be paid by those governments, not AstraZeneca.

Nor is this the first COVID jab withdrawn. Last year a Johnson & Johnson drug was pulled from the market. It had a similar adverse effect, causing dangerous blood clots.

Meanwhile the COVID drugs issued by Modena and Pfizer, both of which use mRNA technology, have been shown to carry their own toxicity risks.

The mRNA vaccines have multiple known side effects, including heart inflammation and severe allergic shock. Those may stem from hypersensitivity reactions, which can be elicited by “any LNP-mRNA component” but are most likely triggered by PEGlyated lipid nanoparticles, which is “the most potentially reactogenic component,” according to the scientists.

Did any of these fake vaccines work? It appears not. Here are just a few studies over the past year:

I have reported numerous other similar studies here, here, here, and here. And that’s only a small sampling.

From day one of the COVID panic the entire octopus of drug companies, governmental health agencies, and politicians teamed up to push a fraud on the general public. They instilled unnecesary fear, lied about everything, and along the way they destroyed careers, businesses, the education of a whole generation of children, and worst of all, caused the unnecessary deaths of possibly many millions.

Even now none of these petty dictators are willing to admit their errors. If anything, they continue to claim they were 100% right. To all our misfortune, many remain in power, able to do the same again.

Researchers use challenge trials to understand infections and quickly test vaccines and therapies. In March 2021, after months of ethical debate, UK researchers launched the world’s first COVID-19 challenge trial. The study identified a minuscule dose of the SARS-CoV-2 strain that circulated in the early days of the pandemic that could infect about half of the participants, who had not previously been infected with the virus (at that time, vaccines weren’t yet widely available).

In parallel, a team led by Helen McShane, an infectious-disease researcher at Oxford, launched a second SARS-CoV-2 challenge study in people … who had recovered from naturally caught SARS-CoV-2 infections, caused by a range of variants. The trial later enrolled participants who had also been vaccinated.

…When nobody developed a sustained infection, the researchers increased the dose by more and more in subsequent groups of participants, until they reached a level 10,000 times the initial dose. A few volunteers developed short-lived infections, but these quickly vanished.

…“We were quite surprised,” says Susan Jackson, a study clinician at Oxford and co-author of the latest study. “Moving forward, if you want a COVID challenge study, you’re going to have to find a dose that infects people.”

This article in the science journal Nature is written in a very clunky manner, almost as if the writer and editors wanted to obscure these findings.

The bottom line however is no surprise to anyone who kept their heads during the 2020 COVID panic. This virus was not the plague, but merely comparable to a new strain of the flu, though apparently artificially created by a Chinese lab in Wuhan that was partly funded by American federal funds from the NIH. And like all such diseases, once you caught it your own immune system naturally figured out how to protect you from it in the future.

And like the flu, if you were young and healthy it was incapable of killing you. The quicker the general population had gotten infected and immune, the quicker the epidemic would have died out, making it impossible for the virus to harm many of the sick and old. That was the standard response to epidemics until 2020.

Instead, the health establishment went nuts, forgot basic science, and did exactly the opposite, thus killing many more of the old and sick than necessary.

An op-ed today in the New York Post tried to explain why the medical and health community lost the confidence of so much of the public after the COVID epidemic. According to Marc Siegal, a doctor and news pundit (or as described in his bio line at the end of the essay, “a clinical professor of medicine and medical director of Doctor Radio at NYU Langone Health and a Fox News medical analyst”), the distrust was caused by the effort of the Biden administration to force the COVID jab on everyone through mandates while squelching any dissent or discussions of potential risks.

To Siegal, this effort to make believe the jab carried no risks at all was seen from the start as a lie, and has since been proven so. Better to have been honest from the start, Siegal says, so that patients could make up their own minds with all the facts in hand.

The way Siegal couches his language in his op-ed, however, only increases this distrust.

Now we have research data from the Global Vaccine Data Network that detail exactly what risks accompany the COVID vaccines. The study found what has been shown previously in smaller studies — that side effects from the vaccines are mostly mild, but they aren’t non-existent. The study showed an association between the mRNA vaccines and rare myocarditis, and between the Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine — which was never approved for use in the United States — and pericarditis, Guillain-Barre syndrome and other neurological complications. The Moderna mRNA vaccine was also associated with a slight increased risk of brain swelling.

Conspiracy theorists will take this as vindication. [emphasis mine]

Siegal is doing exactly the same thing as the Biden administration and the health community during the COVID panic. Note the highlighted phrases. He repeatedly minimizes the risks from the jab, even though the very risks he describes, while rare, are so serious and life-threatening that they make getting the jab a very bad idea, ever.

Consider this: You are the parent of a young son, under the age of 30. The data says there is a small chance he could get myocarditis and die should he get the jab. At the same time, the data also says that the jab is somewhat ineffective in preventing someone from getting COVID. In addition, should your son get COVID the data also tells us that the chances it will kill him are literally nil. Nor am I exaggerating. COVID does not kill any healthy young people. Like the flu, it is only life-threatening to the aged, the very ill, or the obese.

Would you, knowing these facts, ever have any young people get the jab? No, you wouldn’t. But Siegal perpetuates the earlier lies by making believe the risks are low, when in truth though the risks are rare they are also very serious and in fact deadly for some. For example, an 8-year-old Israeli boy died of a heart attack only three years after he was used as the poster child to convince parents to have their children jabbed.

According to reports, Yonatan Moshe Erlichman, grandson of a distinguished physician in Beit El, Dr. Mati Erlichman, “died unexpectedly of cardiac arrest while taking a bath.” The 8-year-old boy is said to have “slipped under the water after his heart suddenly stopped beating, causing him to drown.” After being rushed to Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus, Yonatan died a few days later on September 28.

It was unheard of for an 8-year-old to even get a heart attack before COVID and the COVID shots. Yet now such things are relatively common, and horrifying.

Siegal is like most of the elitist health community, which still refuses to admit how wrong it was about COVID, from day one, in almost every way. Some still insist on the use of masks, though they don’t work. Some (like Siegal) still advocate the jab, though it doesn’t really work either. All still overstate the risks from COVID, which began as simply another flu strain that has now devolved into another version of the common cold.

And this health community still tries to minimize the risks of the COVID jab, even as it routinely overstates its usefulness.

Rather than admit error, this community, whom Siegal now epitomizes, issues mealy-mouthed equivocations that while more or less correct are designed to hide their stupidity and error, while simultaneously describing everyone who disagrees (“Conspiracy theorists” to use Siegal’s slander) fools and barbarians.

They need to stop playing these games. The public sees the truth, and everytime some doctor like Siegal does this it only worsens the situation.

Right now, the best medical advice for everyone is this: Take everything your doctor tells you with great skepticism, especially if that doctor was an advocate of masks, lockdowns, social distancing, and the jab during the COVID panic, and even more especially if that doctor still considers such actions effective. Your doctor doesn’t use his brain as clearly as he should, which means he might be putting you at risk when he does use it.

I think it is time to do an update on the recent research outlining the disaster that the mRNA COVID jab has brought to humans worldwide. The news has generally been bad, though sadly none of it has been a surprise to anyone paying attention since 2021 and 2022.

Note to that no where in any of my reporting do I ever call these shots “vaccines.” In the past, when you got a vaccine it protected you from the targeted disease. The jab does not do that. It is not even clear that it reduces your chances of catching the disease, with significant evidence actually suggesting it increases your chances.

We begin with a study published in August 2023 that found that the jab appeared to damage the immune system of children.

Kids who got Pfizer’s mRNA Covid jabs had a weakened immune response to other viruses and bacteria, Australian researchers reported in a study published last week. The diminished response appeared within weeks after the second Pfizer dose, the authors found. Blood taken from the children produced fewer crucial signaling molecules when stimulated with several common potential bacteria and viruses.

Over time, the immune response to bacteria returned to normal. But the diminished response to viruses lasted at least six months, for as long as the researchers collected data.

This study was small, involving only 29 kids, but the data was “troubling” to all researchers involved, and demanded further research.

Then in September a study of health care workers found that getting the jab actually made them sicker.

The authors conclude that “COVID-19 vaccination has a non-negligible impact on the staff availability in the health sector” and that it is likely the enhanced immune response to each subsequent jab that is responsible for the escalating symptoms. We’re looking only at acute, immediate reactions to vaccination here – not at injuries or other more serious adverse events. The results of the study are clearly confirmed by the overwhelming disinclination of the general public to accept further vaccination after the booster campaign. Even when everything goes right, the vaccines make a lot of people feel sick, and the effect grows more pervasive and more powerful with each successive jab.

Some of this illness was simply a reaction to the jab itself, not getting COVID. Nonetheless, the negative consequences of these shots should not be ignored in calculating whether any are worth taking. Apparently, this study say the shots are not worth it.

Next we have an October study documenting the precipitous rise is sudden death among healthy atheletes since the rollout of the COVID jabs in 2020.

According to an analysis by Mark Crispin Miller, in the final months of 2020, the year of the pandemic, there were on average 4,346 online news articles in English language media using this phrase. In the first eight months of 2023, two years after imposing covid injections on populations of the world, this number has risen to 7,910 news articles a month on average. That is an 82% rise.

The article also notes that while most of these deaths are related to heart issues, there has also been a significant rise in cancer cases among these young atheletes.

In October another study found evidence suggesting that the jab triggerd serious rheumatic inflammation in patients shortly thereafter.

On average, patients developed rheumatic diseases 11 days after vaccine administration, according to the study. Seventy-five (over 27 percent) of these patients experienced total disease remission, and about 50 percent improved following treatment. Eight were admitted to intensive care, and two died from their symptoms. “The short time span between COVID-19 vaccine administration and the onset of R-IMIDs suggests the potential possibility of a cause-and-effect relationship,” the authors wrote.

Rheumatic immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (R-IMIDs) involve inflammation that manifests in the joints, tendons, muscles, and bones due to an unknown cause.

Also in October a study in Great Britain found that it was the vaccinated population that was dying from COVID, not those who avoided the jab.

The Office for National Statistics recently published an update on deaths by vaccination status in England and it has shockingly revealed that the vaccinated population accounted for 95% of COVID-19 deaths in the 12 months between 1st June 2022 and 31st May 2023, and 94% of those deaths were among either the triple or quadruple vaccinated population.

Another October study in Germany found evidence linking the jab to the spike in heart problems.

In a more recent paper issued in January, researchers found that the ineffectiveness of the COVID jabs meant that they ended up causing more deaths than they saved.

The peer-reviewed study, published in the Cureus journal on Jan. 24, analyzed reports from the initial phase 3 trials of Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. These trials led to the shots being approved under Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) in the United States. The study also looked into several other research and reviews of the trials. It found that the vaccines had “dramatically lower” efficacy rates than the vaccine companies claimed.

Moreover, based on “conservative assumptions, the estimated harms of the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines greatly outweigh the rewards: for every life saved, there were nearly 14 times more deaths caused by the modified mRNA injections.”

Joe Biden: claiming the power to tell us what medicines we must take

All of these studies either suggested doctors and patients should have second thoughts about getting the COVID shots, or more directly called for a full moratorium on giving thse shots to anyone. Sadly, governments continue to blindly and stupidly push the jab, ignoring this evidence. The public however appears far smarter and aware:

Despite [the CDC] immediately authorizing the boosters for virtually all ages, with little justification, just 17% of the population got their latest COVID shot. Whether through skepticism of the “experts,” immunity from prior infection, or the realization that the vaccines are ineffective at preventing infection, the public overwhelmingly ignored public health advice.

Of course, the great tragedy here is the complete loss of credibility of the entire health industry. The public no longer believes anything they say, and should a real health crisis rear its ugly head in the next few years, these bankrupt health officials will find they cannot get anyone to listen. They have destroyed themselves, and as a result they have contributed to bankrupting the reputation of the entire science community.

And finally, we come to the article that prompted this post, not because it is about the COVID shots but because it further documents the utter bankruptcy of the organized corporate medical community. It is titled “The shocking testimony of the Covid-19 nurses,” and it details at length the endless horror stories nurses experienced in the hospital system during the entire Wuhan flu panic. This one story is typical:

Eventually Olszeswki was posted to a large public hospital, to find doctors and nurses following extraordinary and harmful protocols. Rather than a last resort, intubation to breathing machines was primary treatment. Andrew Cuomo, governor of New York, acted as medical dictator, ordering 30,000 ventilators. As paycheck employees following administrative policy, doctors abandoned their Hippocratic Oath, mistreating patients who walked into hospital but left via the morgue. Consent, so fundamental to healthcare, was reduced to doctors telling patients that their only chance of survival was mechanical ventilation.

According to Olszewski the throughput was like a factory production line, manufacturing the desired mortality data. Nurses, normally reticent in challenging decisions made by doctors in a rigid hierarchical culture, failed to put their patients first. They were complicit in state-sanctioned murder. This was particularly awful in the public hospitals of New York, where the majority of patients were poor and funded by Medicare, the federal system that incentivised use of ventilators, paying hospitals $39,000 per case. As patients were expected to perish, little care was given and they lay unwashed on their faeces. As soon as a corpse was carried out, the apparatus was used for the next admission.

The article details many other specific stories that are even more horrifying. All told, this evidence strongly suggests that the last place you should go if you get sick is today’s corporate hospital. They are not interested in healing you, only getting whatever government and insurance payment they can, and will go for the highest payment even if it means they need you to die to get it.

The consequences of the COVID panic are not yet fleshed out entirely, but for the moment, it appears that almost every policy instituted by government and health authorities were failures of such a momumental nature that it boggles the mind.

This week Anthony Fauci was brought before a committee in the House of Representatives for closed-door hearings on his actions during the COVID epidemic in 2020-2021. Though supposedly private, the committee has been providing detailed recaps of Fauci’s testimony.

What it has learned is that Fauci was not only a chronic liar during his time as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), he was also utterly incompetent as both a scientist as well as an administrator.

None of this really is news. As early as December 2020 Fauci admitted publicly that he had purposely misstated facts and scientific data for political reasons. Repeatedly I have reported many other examples of his dishonesty and incompetence (see for example these posts from June ’21, April ’22, September ’22, November ’22, and September ’23).

Nonetheless, Fauci’s testimony now is worth reviewing, because it underlines starkly how he misled and misinformed the public, causing great harm for no gain.

First, he admitted in testimony that the demands by him and the government that everyone maintain a six-foot distance during the epidemic was utter garbage, based on no scientific data at all.

In Tuesday’s session, Fauci admitted that the six-foot social distancing recommendation “was likely not based on any data,” according to the committee. “It just sort of appeared,” it wrote, quoting Fauci.

In August 2020 I found evidence suggesting the only source for this absurd rule came from a high school science project. Fauci has now essentially confirmed this, admitting that there is no legitimate science behind the six-foot rule.

Fauci also admitted in his testimony that he never read any of the grants he approved at the health agency he headed, including the grants that sent money to the Wuhan lab in China where the evidence now shows COVID was developed artificially and then accidently (maybe on purpose) released. Yet, reviewing those proposals was his main job!

Fauci also admitted that NIAID, the agency that issued these grants, had no method to conduct any oversight over any of the foreign laboratories it funded.

To put it bluntly, Fauci gave a lot of money to nations that are enemies of the United States, without any review or supervision.

During the testimony Fauci revealed his dishonesty in another way, by responding to questions more than 100 times with “I don’t recall.” This is the easy out for liars, since by making believe they don’t remember they can avoid getting caught in another lie.

That this guy was the head of a government scientific agency for more than forty years that routinely handed out research grants worth in total many billions of dollars illustrates well the overall incompetence and stupidity of our entire federal government for the past half century.

As I noted, none of this is news. It has been plainly evident since the Vietnam War that the federal government has become untrustworthy and a failure, in more ways than can be counted, with that failure growing more evident with greater consequences every year since.

Yet, Americans not only allowed such idiots to remain in charge, they have repeatedly treated them like gods, believing their every word when even the slightest amount of research showed them to be utter frauds.

No wonder the nation now seems to be on the verge of chaos and utter collapse, weighed down by a bankrupt federal government with far too much power that can’t accomplish anything except encourage perversion and provide aid and comfort to our enemies while squelching the freedoms of American citizens. You get the government you ask for. And for more than a half century Americans have nonchalantly acquiesced to — and even eagerly approved of — a bankrupt federal government of losers.

Anthony Fauci is the poster child of those government losers, and a perfect symbol of the kind of government Americans have demanded now for decades.

Bring a gun to a knife fight: The many military soldiers punished by Biden for refusing the Covid jab have now filed a class action lawsuit for what they expect to be worth billions.

Former troops are suing the U.S. government for lost pay and benefits due to the Biden administration’s military vaccine mandate, one of the lawyers who successfully brought down the Anthrax vaccine told Breitbart News.

Attorney Dale Saran, a retired Marine, and fellow attorneys Andy Meyer and Brandon Johnson are representing the former troops in three separate lawsuits they plan to turn into a class action lawsuit on behalf of all service members who were either kicked out or illegally ordered to stop drilling, resulting in loss of pay or benefits. Saran said the amount is in the “billions.”

“It’s worth billions. That’s just flat-out. That’s what it is in backpay. It’s billions of dollars,” he said.

Though only about 8,000 active-duty troops were kicked out of the military due to the Biden jab mandate, the lawyers estimate another 80,000 to 100,000 soldiers are due compensation for lost benefits because they were made inactive or forbidden from participating in drill activities.

The lawsuit has been filed in U.S. Court of Federal Claims, a specialized court where illegal military discharges are heard. Lawyer Saran won a similar suit in that court over the military’s anthrax mandates back in the late nineties. The case now is likely stronger because, as he notes,

They were basically [without] the benefit of any due process. No boards were held. They didn’t hold any administrative separation boards; they didn’t hold any hearings. They didn’t do any federal recognition boards; none of the administrative or judicial procedures were used. They just flat-out did it.

This willful refusal to follow the law has been typical behavior by the left since the start of the Wuhan panic. The law no longer applies to them. They want to do something, they do it, even if it is illegal and hurts someone else. Shutter businesses illegally, silence opponents illegally, favor some races illegally, fire soldiers illegaly, mandate jabs and masks illegally, demand health records illegally: All okay because the good people are doing it! How dare you question their righteousness?

The worst aspect of these violations of law has been the meek willingness of everyone to go along with them. Most shameful.

The timing of this suit is excellent. At this same moment the U.S. Army is literally begging soldiers who were kicked out to come back, as shown by the letter to the right. The Army not only wants them back, it is offering to clear from each individual’s Army record the reprimands issued and their involuntary discharge for refusing the jab (records that would impact future promotions). That offer suggests the Army recognizes it committed a wrongful action by punishing these soldiers, which is excellent evidence that can be used in the class action suit.

This desire by the Army to take back these fired soldiers also reflects the military’s desperate struggle to meet recruiting goals. The Army has missed its goals by 25% this year, the Marines by 40%, and the Air Force and Navy by 90%. Apparently, punishing soldiers for refusing an experimental drug that has since been shown to have serious adverse health effects and is generally ineffective in stopping any Covid strain is causing young men and women to reconsider entering the military. That the military under Biden is also focused on pushing the queer agenda on its soldiers is further impacting recruiting. Young men don’t join the military to pal around with transvestites and cross-dressers.

Now some of those fired soldiers are fighting. Sadly their enemy isn’t a nation trying to destroy American freedom, but their own government and its effort to oppress Americans. Even if many return to the military with cleared records, the unity and brotherhood necessary for successful military actions has been permanently broken. As noted at the second link above,

[T]hey will always remember the unfairness, the trauma, and the helplessness they felt as their commanders dismissed them for not taking experimental and non-working COVID vaccines.

Trust has been lost, and to recover it will take years.

A big victory in this lawsuit will help the healing process, but it cannot remove the damage completely.

They’re coming for you next: In a demonstration that it almost certainly teaches its students bad medicine, the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston has now reinstated its mandates requiring all students, faculty, and employees to get the utterly ineffective but potentially unhealthy COVID booster shots.

The statement issued by the college stated “Baylor faculty, staff, and students must get the COVID vaccine, or request a medical, religious, or personal exemption by Nov. 30.” In 2022-23 this college had more 1,600 students [pdf], so this mandate effects a lot of young people, who according to numerous recent studies (here, here, here, here, here, and here) are also at greater risk of getting myrocarditus from these boosters, resulting in serious heart damage and even death.

What makes this even worse is that the boosters are generally useless in preventing COVID, with other research suggesting strongly that if anything, the jab increases the chances you will get the virus.

Not that this matters, since anyone who has read any of the recent studies on the mutation of COVID over time will also know that all the recent strains are generally harmless, especially to the young, producing nothing more than a very mild cold. No one need do anything to avoid it. In fact, it might even be better to get one of these mild strains to strengthen your immune system.

That a medical college seems entirely unaware of this research data tells us that it must be teaching its medical students badly. If I was a student there I would move heaven and earth to transfer out, now, not just to avoid getting the jab but to make sure I am getting properly educated.

An additional irony to this story is that Baylor is in Texas, a state with a government largely controlled by Republicans.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has publicly declared that his state “should be leading the fight against the COVID tyranny.” However, large publicly funded institutions are still allowed to impose vaccine mandates.

In September Mr. Abbott signed into law Senate Bill 29, which prohibits local governments from requiring COVID-related masks, vaccines, or business shutdowns. However, a separate bill, “The Texas COVID-19 Vaccine Freedom Act,” intended to block any Texas entity, including hospitals and private businesses, from mandating COVID vaccines for employees, remains stalled.

The stalling was caused by one Republican state representative, Dustin Burrows, who is in charge of the calendar for the House and purposedly scheduled things so that the session would end before the bill could be voted on.

Other Republicans are calling for Abbot to call a special session to get the law passed, but it is unclear he has the political will to do this.

Regardless of what the state government eventually does, it seems that some employees at Baylor should consider a lawsuit against this mandate. The data says the jab is generally useless and potentially dangerous. No one should be forced to get it in order to keep their job. And since numerous court decisions have already nullified other jab mandates, it is likely this mandate would struck down in court as well.

UPDATE: I have corrected the attendence numbers above for this college. The article at the link confused Baylor University with the Baylor College of Medicine, two entirely different organizations. See the comments below for more information about this correction.

A federal district court judge ruled last week that a lawsuit by seven former health employees in Maine can continue, dismissing the absurd argument by Maine’s Democrat governor, Janet Mills, that even though these employees were illegally denied a religious exemption and got fired for not getting the COVID jab, the harm they have endured no longer exists because Mills eventually stopped enforcing her mandate and will repeal it later this month.

The lawsuit in question — Alicia Lowe, et al., v. Janet Mills, et al. — alleges that the State of Maine violated healthcare workers’ First Amendment rights by refusing to allow a religious exemption to the vaccine mandate. The healthcare workers argue that healthcare facilities should have offered reasonable accommodations for employees who objected to the COVID-19 shots for religious reasons.

Because of Mills’ vaccine mandate, which specifically barred any religious exemption, healthcare facilities were unable to offer a testing option for employees. As a result of this, several healthcare workers were fired after requesting a religious exemption to the mandate. Some of those workers have now filed a lawsuit against both members of the state government and their employers.

Though it involves a number of obscure legal precedents, the essence is really plain: You can’t make believe you never fired anyone for not getting the COVID jab mandate for religious reasons, just because you later cancelled the mandate. Those employees still do not have their jobs, and you still violated their rights under numerous civil rights laws as well as several amendments in the Bill of Rights.

As noted the day of the ruling by the non-profit law firm that is representing the fired workers, Liberty Counsel:

Their lawsuit against Governor Mills, health officials of the Maine Department of Health and Human Services, Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and five of the state’s largest hospital systems, challenges the Maine law that requires employees of designated Maine health care facilities to be vaccinated against the COVID-19 shot. Governor Mills ordered employers to deny all religious exemptions and ignore the federal employment law known as Title VII that affords employees the right to request reasonable accommodation for their sincere religious beliefs. Governor Mills also threatened to revoke the licenses of all health care employers if they did not abide by her rule. [emphasis mine]

The highlighted sentence in the quote provides a perfect window into the mindset of today’s Democrats: They are above the law and can ignore it at their whim in order to viciously squash any opposition. What makes this abuse of power even worse is that Mills now wants to be made immune from any consequences, simply because she has later canceled her mandate. If that insane precedent is allowed to stand, then future lawmakers could institute any illegal action and get away with by simply cancelling it later, after it has done its harm.

The discovery phase of the lawsuit will now go forward, and will quite easily demonstrate this illegal behavior. If there is still justice in America and we remain a nation of laws, then Mills and the other health officials who teamed up with her to violate the law will then find themselves paying for that illegal behavior.

They’re coming for you next: When the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) stripped Florida doctor John Littell of his medical license in March 2023 because he had publicly advocated the use of ivermectin to treat COVID patients while questioning many of the government health policies being imposed during the epidemic, he immediate appealed.

I reported on ABFM’s attempt to blacklist Littell back in April, shortly after it took action against him. At the time it appeared the ABFM’s actions were prompted because he had spoken publicly about his successful use of ivermectin at a hospital board meeting, a meeting from which he was evicted.

Interviews with Littell went viral after he gave a speech at the Sarasota Memorial Hospital Board meeting last month in support of using Ivermectin to treat Covid and was subsequently removed by police after approaching a sympathetic board member. Since the video’s release Littell has amassed a large Twitter following and even appeared on Dr. Drew’s TV show to talk about what happened.

ABFM then sent him a letter “saying he’d been de-certified for ‘spreading false, inaccurate, and misleading materials about COVID-19, COVID-19 vaccination, and treatment and mitigation of the virus.'”

Finally in response to Littell’s appeal in July ABFM decided to reinstate his license, but it also declared the license was retroactively de-certified for the previous three months, even though he had still being seeing patients because his license was supposed to be still active pending appeal.

“It’s like a slap on the wrist so they’d feel good about it, but wouldn’t, presumably, have to face any legal action,” [Littell] said. His attorney agreed. “They did it in a very face-saving way,” Mr. Childers said.

…He still may face consequences for having the blemish on his record, he said. He’ll have to report it to the hospitals at which he works and explain what happened, he said. “Every time I go up for privileges with a hospital or any other institution, they’re going to say, ‘Well, has your license ever been suspended or revoked, and has your board certification ever been revoked?’ So, it’s still an issue. It’s not like you can just forget about it.”

He’s been advised by some other doctors, such as cardiologist Peter McCullough, to pursue legal action for the disciplinary measure they feel was wrong, he said.

There is no word yet on whether Littell will take that further legal action. He should.

The bottom line still remains: The powers in control did not like it that Littell was publicly disagreeing with their foolish COVID health policies, especially when it comes to ivermectin, and so it acted to punish him for daring to speak his mind. And though it backed off, recognizing it had no legal leg to stand on, it did it in such a way to warn Littell and all other doctors that they better watch what they do. In other words, ABFM was acting like a mobster demanding protection money. “Nice practice you got here. Sure would be a shame if something happened to it.”

It must be noted again that the hostility by government health officials to the use of ivermectin was not only unjustified and contrary to known medical data, a federal appeals court has recently ruled [pdf] that their actions were also likely illegal.

“FDA is not a physician. It has authority to inform, announce, and apprise — but not to endorse, denounce, or advise,” Judge Don Willett wrote for the appeals court. “The Doctors have plausibly alleged that FDA’s Posts fell on the wrong side of the line between telling about and telling to.”

The FDA’s campaign, which included viral signs reading “You are not a horse,” emphasized agency recommendations that ivermectin — an anti-parasite medication often used for horses but sometimes prescribed to humans — should not be used to treat COVID-19.

In this ruling, the court allowed a lawsuit against the FDA by three doctors to go forward. Each claims the FDA’s action damaged their reputation and their practice. One doctor was fired, another suspended.

Based on this ruling it appears Littell also has a case as well. The ABFM had no evidence justifying its de-certification of his medical license. He had done nothing wrong, and its decision to reinstate him only underlines this fact. I repeat, he should sue.

They’re coming for you next: Last week I posted an essay on the over-use and misuse of computer modeling in today’s scientific community, focused specifically on the unreliability of all climate models to successfully predict any actual climate trends.

One of the individuals who read my essay, Kenneth Green, immediately commented here on Behind the Black to note that he had just published a book on this very subject, entitled The Plague of Models: How Computer Modeling Corrupted Environmental, Health, and Safety Regulations, describing how the misuse of models has resulted in the proliferation of government regulations based not on actual data but on computer models that in many ways are nothing more than the opinions of the computer programs.

Green also noted that Amazon has refused to make his book available for sale, essentially banning it for no justifiable reason. As he explained to me in an email,

My publisher, who is a start-up small Canadian publisher specializing in public policy books, tried to upload The Plague of Models to Amazon, as he had previously done with half a dozen other books while working at previous institutions as in-house publisher.

This time, unlike his previous experiences, the book was taken down shortly after it was uploaded (and we know the upload process worked, since the book was available briefly for preview, so there was no technical issue with the manuscript file). The publisher got a form-letter email saying that the book had been taken down because it may have violated some (non-specific) Amazon Term of Service. When he sent a note back requesting clarification/appeal, he got another form letter, this one repeating that the book may have violated some term of service, and warning that any attempt to re-upload would get his entire account terminated.

From what I’ve read on the internet, other conservative authors are bumping into the same pattern with Amazon. The book was successfully uploaded to Google Play Books, picked up by Barnes and Noble, as well as picked up by Ingram Global Distribution

There’s no way to know exactly why Amazon refused to distribute, as they hide behind the form letters, and don’t give one a human to talk to about it. But we are pretty sure we did not violate any of Amazon’s “Terms of Service.” I do suspect that we tripped a rejection-algorithm because of the somewhat critical discussion of COVID modeling that I have in the book. It’s a matter of record that Amazon installed filters to eliminate a vast swath of products and books related to COVID as “disinformation,” after they were threatened with investigation by Elizabeth Warren, back in 2020.

I decided Green’s book would be worth reading, and asked him for a review copy, which he graciously provided. I figured, if Amazon was blacklisting Green and his book, it likely contains some valuable insights that others should know about.

I now can say unequivocally that this book should be read by every high school student and every single journalist in the nation. It not only makes clear the difference between the abstract nature of models versus the concrete nature of actual data, it provides an excellent history of the corruption of science in the last half century as scientists shifted from skepticism and a reliance on observation and gathering real world data to using models to advocate political positions and then shaping their data to fit those opinion-based models. If more people understood this history and these facts we would see far fewer news articles proclaiming the coming end of the world, based on climate models. We would also have more ordinary citizens able to see through those junk articles and dismiss them for the junk they are.

The book also provides an excellent history of how government agencies in the past half century misused these unreliable models to justify new and odious regulations, often for good intentions but always based not on real data but on models purposely shaped to justify those regulations.

For example, do you know that only real research used by the EPA for its regulations on the health dangers from ultra-violet radiation come from only about a half dozen old studies, all done before 2001 “…on hairless mice, eye lenses taken out of young pigs, and, oh, a population of people from Salisbury, Maryland.” These few studies, while well done, came to conclusions that were very uncertain and had many caveats. Despite this lack of substantial data, however, the EPA then proceeded to build an edifice of regulations to protect the Earth’s ozone hole, backing up this shallow research with a plethora of computer models that had no basis in fact. Green details this history, using the EPA’s own printed words. As he concludes,

What I consider to be a part of the plague of models is how such research is then incorporated into complex abstract models that give such research findings an aura of greater utility than is warranted.

The regulations that resulted required society to spend billions on revising our air conditioning and refrigeration systems while banning most aerosol sprays. In general these government rules made life more difficult. Did they actually prevent cataracts and skin cancer? We really have no idea, because the research doesn’t really exist to tell us. All we have are unreliable computer models that are essentially nothing more the opinions of their programmers.

Actual observational data vs climate models

Green’s book is best however when he describes the evolution of the United Nations’ Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) from its first reports in the early 1990s to the more recent reports in the 2000s. In the beginning these reports were written and controlled by the scientists, with a focus on describing in detail the actual known data on the climate as well as the vast uncertainties. By the 2000s the reports were no longer scientific reports, but political statements shaped by governments with little relationship to facts. Instead, computer climate models dominated, the same computer climate models that have consistently failed to predict anything correctly for decades. And yet, it was those models that became the basis for the later IPCC reports that repeatedly declared we are all about to die if we don’t impose severe government restrictions on our way of life.

I know personally that Green’s book on this subject is correct, because I myself read through all the IPCC reports, and found the same pattern. This is a history that everyone must know in order to understand how useless most IPCC reports are. They don’t tell us anything. They instead spout propaganda, and use unreliable and untrustworthy models to justify that propaganda.

Green concludes his book with a chapter on the Wuhan panic, and the fake models used to sell the idea that we needed masks, lockdowns, and social distancing to “slow the spread” so that hospital emergency rooms would not be overrun. As he concludes,

Computer modeling of COVID-19 risk were not, at the end of the day, the cause of the vast panoply of horrendous public policy, rules, and regulations promulgated in dealing with COVID-19, some of which will haunt us forever.

But modeling of the potential value of COVID-19 risk-mitigation interventions did indeed play such a role, and should be a cautionary tale for the future, because they enabled panicked governments to implement intervention policies that, while completely untested, were nearly guaranteed to cause massive harm to people’s lives, employment, and economies that would last many years beyond the pandemic itself. The utility of the “non-pharmaceutical” interventions, all pinned to the novel idea that society’s over-arching value was the conservation of intensive care beds, were also over-estimated. Meanwhile, the damages that would be done to society by the radical changes of widespread economic sector shutdowns, exhortations to “stay home, stay safe,” restrictions on occupancy in shops and restaurants, intimidating and unpleasant mask-mandates, social-distancing mandates, and all the rest were almost universally ignored. In fact, mentioning them would get you banned from most social networking in pretty short order. [emphasis mine]

I highlight that last sentence because that is exactly what happened to me, at least among my own social circles. I dared say that masks and lockdowns made no sense, and refused to obey. I was thus blacklisted by almost all of my so-called friends for daring to speak what I saw as truth, and has since been proven correct over and over again.

Nor was my experience the worst example of recent blacklisting. My own daily blacklist column since 2021 describes numerous much more horrible examples, from preventing little children from getting life saving operations to having hundreds of skilled doctors fired and blacklisted for simply expressing questions about COVID policy.

That same blacklisting mentality at Amazon has now engulfed The Plague of Models, getting it banned for daring to say things someone at Amazon doesn’t want to hear.

A brutal house-cleaning must happen,
or western civilization is doomed

The one area of Green’s book that I found weak was his last chapter outlining what we should do to correct the overuse of models. In it he simple proposes more regulations to make government agencies and the people who work for them more responsible and less reliant of computer models.

I think Green on this is being naive. Regulations can’t fix anything, especially when the people involved are passionate ideologues willing to warp science of political reasons. They will either ignore such new regulations, or twist them to actually prevent others from challenging them.

What we really need is a full house-cleaning, merciless and thorough. The staff of CDC, the EPA, the FDA, and many other agencies must be replaced, from top to bottom. At a minimum the total personnel of these agencies needs to be trimmed enormously. Only then can the American people, working with good scientists devoted only in gathering actual data, can we regain control of our society. Only then can scientists themselves recapture scientific research so that is no longer distorted by unreliable models with no basis in fact, but instead returns to the Enlightenment goal of an unwavering search for truth, a goal that made western civilization a civilization for the past five hundred years.

It apparently has not been enough that they have successfully destroyed a thriving economy, put millions out of work, destroyed the airline, entertainment, sports, and restaurant industries, over a disease that, at best is nothing more than a slight blip in the overall death rate, and at worst will be comparable to similar past epidemics that we lived through without government-imposed panic or economic disaster.

No, destroying millions of lives has not been enough. They need to do more. They need to find more ways to squelch our freedom, nullify the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, and, to paraphrase Orwell, stamp a boot down on our faces, forever.

And in this case, they mean to do this, almost literally.

They are now beginning to demand that we wear masks at all times in public, in the mindless and stupid belief that this will somehow stop COVID-19 from spreading.

I also declared unequivocally that I would not wear a mask, “and if you demand it of me you will have a revolution on your hands.”

During the entire COVID panic I never did wear a mask, but unfortunately, there was no revolution. Americans lined up like sheep and did as they were told, despite the fact that there continues to be zero evidence that masks do anything to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, but actually contribute to its spread. The graphic to the right, from WHO, illustrates the risks of wearing a mask incorrectly, something everyone does. See this essay from July 2020 as well.

It now appears that the same government thugs who imposed jab and mask mandates before, working in league with the corrupt mainstream press, are once again trying to gin up another COVID panic, and force the same insane policies of lockdowns, school closures, and mask mandates all over again.

A good example of this new fear-mongering can be found in this absurd Daily Mail article today, sounding the alarm that a new mutant stream of COVID has now entered the United States. Let me quote:

A second American tested positive for the new highly-mutated BA.2.86 Covid variant that has been causing global alarm over its rapid transmission.

The positive case was detected in an asymptomatic patient in Virginia who was tested August 10 after returning to the US from Japan. [emphasis mine]

Oh no, we’re all gonna die!

Did you notice that the person showed no symptoms? This variant is like all the recent variants, relatively harmless, hardly different than catching a cold. And yet, its arrival according to this article is that we must panic and do something, even though the article itself admits that hospital admissions right now “remain at near-historic lows”, and that this variant produces “symptoms … milder than at any point previously in the pandemic.”

No matter. We must panic, and the arrival of two positive tests, one in Virginia and another in Michigan, is all the evidence some leftists and a number of very brainless universities need. In Atlanta Morris Brown College announced on August 20, 2023 it is reinstating mask mandates, social distancing, tracking of students, quarantines, and repeated temperature checks.

Let me repeat, for what might be the hundredth time: No study before, during, or after the COVID epidemic has found any evidence any of these policies reduce the spread of these respiratory viruses, while many studies have repeatedly found some of these policies — especially masks — carry risks and can be harmful.

Meanwhile, Rutgers and Georgetown never stopped demanding students wear masks indoors, while more than 100 colleges nationwide still require students to get the COVID jab in order to attend classes, even though all versions of the jab have been shown to be utterly ineffective in stopping COVID’s spread or its transmission and numerous studies are now finding the jab is medically dangerous to the hearts of young people — college students you might say.

New Jersey State Sen. Declan O’Scanlon (R) told NewsNation that he is ready to stand with any student who may be disenrolled from the university over their vaccination status, going so far as to call Rutgers administrators cowards. “For Rutgers, which should be the preeminent scientific institution, public institution in New Jersey, to be clinging to this now anti-science and punishing students — life-changing punishment, by the way — is outrageous. The administrators at Rutgers should be ashamed of themselves,” O’Scanlon said.

These COVID mandates by Morris Brown, Rutgers, and Georgetown should remove any doubts anyone might still have that a large percentage of academia is bankrupt and worthless. Fortunately, it also seems that in the case of COVID at least these tyrannical and mindless colleges are increasingly the exception, not the rule. They now comprise a significant minority, with more than 80% of universities nationwide no longer requiring any jabs at all.

Meanwhile, intelligent thought continues to be missing in the White House. The arrival of this new very mild strain is causing it to consider returning to some of the same insane policies that failed so miserably in 2020 and 2021:

The Biden administration plans to urge all Americans to get a booster shot for the coronavirus this autumn to counter a new wave of infections, a White House official said on Sunday. The official said that while the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention are reporting an increase in infections and hospital admissions from the virus, overall levels remain low.

The full policy recommendations can be read here. While it is clear that the White House is avoiding the kind of jab mandates it imposed previously (and were found not only ineffective but illegal), it still acts as if these COVID shots have some value and carry no risks at all.

In other words, its behavior fits the definition of insanity perfectly, doing the same failed thing over and over in the hope the results might be different next time.

Will Americans bow like sheep again and obey any new mandates? I sincerely hope not, because if they do this time, all hope for this nation’s commitment to freedom and the rule of law will end for good. Now more than ever everyone has to proclaim loudly, “I do not submit!” We have to tell these fools that we don’t believe or trust them anymore, and refuse to follow their dictates.

They’re coming for you next: After pediatrician Renata Moon testified at a December 7, 2022 public Capitol Hill event organized by Senator Ron Johnson (R-Wisconsin), where she raised serious and very legitimate questions about the COVID jab and the risks it might carry, she was fired as a teacher by Washington State University for daring to express such thoughts out loud.

So, what horrible things did she say at that December 2022 event?

Dr. Moon testified that she had only seen two or three cases of myocarditis, a form of heart inflammation, while practicing for more than 20 years. But after the COVID-19 vaccines were rolled out, she said, she has been seeing more cases, and heard about others from fellow doctors. “There’s clearly been a massive increase,” Dr. Moon said.

Dr. Moon also pulled out the package insert for the vaccines, or a piece of paper that typically outlines warnings, ingredients, and other information for a vaccine. The insert for the COVID-19 vaccines has no information and says, “intentionally blank,” the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has acknowledged. “How am I to give informed consent to parents when this is what I have?” Dr. Moon said.

All she did was note the obvious increase in myocarditis after the rollout of the jab, something that has now been documented repeatedly by studies (see just a few examples here, here, here, and here), while adding that though by law she as a doctor is required to provide patients with all information about the risks of a treatment, the government had intentionally denied her that information.

For this, Washington State University officials immediately reported her to the Washington Medical Commission (WMC), which at that time (and maybe even now) considers any statement expressing any skepticism about the efficacy of the COVID jab by any doctor to be “misinformation” that justifies the revocation of his or her medical license. In the university’s letter [pdf] informing her of its actions as well as warning her that it was considering firing her, it clearly indicated that it considered her testimony as her fundamental crime.

The WMC has asked the public and practitioners to report possible spread of misinformation. There are components of your presentation that could be interpreted as a possible spread, as such, we are ethically obligated to make a report to the WMC to investigate possible breach of this expectation. … The expressed views will require us to review your teaching assignments in the frame of the education of our students.

Then, as indicated by this letter, in June 2023 it fired her.

The letter had also accused her of testifying as an employee of the university and saying that she was speaking as its representative. Both accusations were utterly false, as shown by the facts outlined here.

Because of these accusations, Moon was forced to give up her medical license. She is presently part of a lawsuit [pdf] against WMC for its aggressive stance against any doctor who questioned the very questionable COVID mandates imposed during the Wuhan panic, including revoking the licenses of any doctor who advocated alternative treatments (such as ivermectin) or like Moon expressed publicly any doubts about the COVID jab.

I hope she wins and gets her license back, but I have my doubts. And even if she wins, her experience as a teacher during the Wuhan panic suggests the next generation of doctors — trained at close-minded universities like Washington State — will be poorly equipped to provide good medical treatment.

Dr. Moon said she’s concerned about medical schools no longer serving as venues for discussion and critical thinking. She recalled being called into the office of a superior over student complaints. She learned that the students complained about Dr. Moon noting correctly that some information about the COVID-19 vaccines was unknown, such as where in the body the ingredients were distributed and whether they would cause certain health problems.

“I just engaged in some critical thinking with my students. I thought it was something that we’re supposed to do in discussion groups, and they had asked me, right?” Dr. Moon said. “They said that I had caused them trauma and harm by telling them that the vaccines might not be 100 percent safe. Again, these are medical students. This is a medical school. Nothing is 100 percent safe, not even aspirin is 100 percent safe. Everything has the potential for a reaction. So to have that be a complaint against me really surprised me and it really concerned me.”

Moon had other similar experiences, which in every case the university supported the students against her. Rather than forcing these future doctors to think critically, the university demanded that Moon encourage them to be close-minded, to shelter them from dissenting views. What is worse is that Washington State’s actions are the rule among academia today, not the exception.

Lord help the sick of the future when placed under the care of this future generation. The generation will not know much, and will be unable to think clearly enough to figure out what it doesn’t know.

Blacklists are back and the Democrats have got “em: On July 4th (an appropriate date), Terry Doughty, chief U.S. district judge of the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, ruled that the evidence clearly showed that the Biden administration, in league with most big social media companies, had been running an aggressive censorship operation against conservatives for the past two-plus years, and issued an injunction banning “numerous top Biden administration officials and agencies from communicating and meeting with social media companies.”

You can read Doughty’s ruling here [pdf]. I strongly urge you to do so, as he is harshly blunt about the ugly actions of the Democrats running the federal government since 2021. His introduction sets the tone, beginning with this quote, “I may disapprove of what you say, but I would defend to the death your right to say it,” and then getting more blunt from there:

This case is about the Free Speech Clause in the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. The explosion of social-media platforms has resulted in unique free speech issues—this is especially true in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. If the allegations made by Plaintiffs are true, the present case arguably involves the most massive attack against free speech in United States’ history. In their attempts to suppress alleged disinformation, the Federal Government, and particularly the Defendants named here, are alleged to have blatantly ignored the First Amendment’s right to free speech. [emphasis mine]

In his detailed review of the history, he begins by listing the number of examples of this attack against free speech by the Biden administration:

In this case, Plaintiffs allege that Defendants suppressed conservative-leaning free speech,
such as:

• (1) suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story prior to the 2020 Presidential election;
• (2) suppressing speech about the lab-leak theory of COVID-19’s origin;
• (3) suppressing speech about the efficiency of masks and COVID-19 lockdowns;
• (4) suppressing speech about the efficiency of COVID-19 vaccines;
• (5) suppressing speech about election integrity in the 2020 presidential election;
• (6) suppressing speech about the security of voting by mail;
• (7) suppressing parody content about Defendants;
• (8) suppressing negative posts about the economy; and
• (9) suppressing negative posts about President Biden.

Doughty then documents in great detail — covering 150 pages — the facts that prove each of these allegations. He then concludes as follows:

The Plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits in establishing that the Government has used its power to silence the opposition. Opposition to COVID-19 vaccines; opposition to COVID-19 masking and lockdowns; opposition to the lab-leak theory of COVID-19; opposition to the validity of the 2020 election; opposition to President Biden’s policies; statements that the Hunter Biden laptop story was true; and opposition to policies of the government officials in power. All were suppressed. It is quite telling that each example or category of suppressed speech was conservative in nature. This targeted suppression of conservative ideas is a perfect example of viewpoint discrimination of political speech. American citizens have the right to engage in free debate about the significant issues affecting the country.

Although this case is still relatively young, and at this stage the Court is only examining it in terms of Plaintiffs’ likelihood of success on the merits, the evidence produced thus far depicts an almost dystopian scenario. During the COVID-19 pandemic, a period perhaps best characterized by widespread doubt and uncertainty, the United States Government seems to have assumed a role similar to an Orwellian “Ministry of Truth.” [emphasis mine]

The reference to Orwell’s 1984 in the last sentence is telling. The blacklisting agenda of the Democratic Party has been more than obvious for the past two years. Instead of seeing Orwell as a warning, the Democrats running the Biden administration have used it as an instruction manual. Doughty found that horrifying, and made that horror quite plain.

For example, during testimony before Doughty in June, lawyers for the Biden Justice Department made it very clear that they considered it their right to deny Americans their free speech rights. For example, when Doughty asked if “the First Amendment covered Americans’ right to say that Biden is responsible for high gas prices and inflation”, Biden’s lawyers simply said “It depends.” When asked if the first amendment covered Americans’ right “to say that the 2020 election was stolen,” those lawyers once again said “It depends.” When asked if criticizing mask and mandates fell under the first amendment, they said “It could” but they added that “it often won’t be.”

In other words, Democrats not only believe in censorship and blacklisting, they are quite willing to nonchalantly violate the Bill of Rights and the law in order to impose that censorship and blacklisting.

Doughty’s ruling on July 4th simply makes their authoritarian nature more plainly evident, and does so in a court of law.

It also appears that the many named defendants, from Joe Biden to officials who headed the CDC, NIAID, Homeland Security, FBI, CIA, Justice, and the State Department, to name only a few, are also personally liable. It will be very enlightening how this case plays out. A final victory in court could become the biggest victory for free speech in decades.

Both the report and today’s press release are filled with vague PR blather interspersed with complementing JPL for addressing the issues, including hiring about a dozen more people to get the main software issue that had prevented last year’s launch solved. I noticed one point however that was not mentioned clearly in the press release nor had been made clear in the earlier investigation report that today’s newly released report labels as “COVID-19 Related” issues.

The return to majority in-person work has made a tremendous difference in restoring visibility and informal communications across the project. Drop-in meetings, social coffee hours, off-site intensives, and individuals “walking the floor” have improved team interaction, problem-solving, efficiency, and trust. The team is also making judicious use of remote and hybrid access options as appropriate to ensure flexibility while not compromising their collaboration.

In other words, the panic over Wuhan had so restricted in-person contact at JPL that it had hampered the project’s development. Based on the vague language used to describe almost everything else mentioned in this new report, it appears that this issue more than anything else contributed the launch delay. Not surprisingly, no one at NASA, JPL, Caltech, or in the government wishes to make this admission bluntly. It would illustrate once again the foolishness of the lockdown policies imposed during the panic by the government and academia.

New data from Israel has now confirmed what was obvious almost from the beginning, that COVID-19 was nothing more than a variation of the flu, a danger only to the elderly and the chronically sick.

According to newly revealed Israeli Ministry of Health data, during the entire epidemic there were zero deaths (that’s 0, nil, none, naught, zilch, null) from COVID to anyone under fifty who was of average and reasonable health.

Zero healthy individuals under the age of 50 have died of COVID-19 in Israel, according to newly released data. “Zero deceased of 18–49 years of age with no underlying morbidities,” the Israel Ministry of Health (MOH) said in response to a formal request from an attorney. Officials noted that the statement only applies to COVID-19 deaths where the MOH conducted an epidemiological investigation and had received information about the underlying diseases.

“Zero is a very, very clear number, and cannot be subject to interpretation,” Yoav Yehezkelli, a specialist in internal medicine and medical management, and former lecturer in the Department of Emergency and Disaster Management at Tel Aviv University in Israel, told The Epoch Times.

“Why were all the extreme measures of school closures, vaccination of children, and lockdowns needed?” he added. [emphasis mine]

This data simply confirms what numerous health experts unwilling to play political games with the data have said from the beginning, that COVID was essentially similar to the flu, harmless to healthy people and only a risk to the elderly and those with serious chronic health issues. Just like the flu, if you are healthy you have no reason to fear it, and in fact, you should be unbothered about getting it as it will give you natural immunity, thus making the spread of the virus more difficult and reducing the risk to those whom the virus (and the flu) could kill.

Trump — along with a lot of other Washington officials — proved this point when they all got COVID in October 2020 and quickly recovered. As I wrote then:

All told since October 1st about eighteen Washington elected officials, staffers, and reporters have announced testing positive for the coronavirus, based on several reports here, here, and here.

These of course are only the announced cases. I suspect that in Washington a lot more are testing positive but are keeping quiet about it.

And yet, among these announced cases has anyone died? No. Has anyone gotten seriously ill? No. In fact, almost no one has been hospitalized, except for Trump, and he recovered so fast that he was released from the Walter Reed hospital today after spending less than four days there. Moreover, he was sent to the hospital only out of caution, not because he was having any significant problems. During his stay it appears he continued his work schedule with almost as much vigor as before.

COVID was the flu. The last thing we should have done is taken action to prevent the young and healthy from getting the disease. Better to let them get infected so we would have quickly reached herd immunity, without destroying the lives of millions.

Instead, we allowed corrupt and power-hungry politicians lock down society, close schools, mandate useless and possibly dangerous COVID shots, all of which accomplished nothing in slowing the spread of the Wuhan flu.

I know there are those who will still refuse to read this data, but consider this recently disclosed CDC fact: During an April 2023 CDC conference — in which almost everyone attending had been jabbed one or multiple times — there was a “superspreader” event in which nearly everyone who became infected with COVID (with no one dying by the way) had gotten the mandated jabs. The shots did nothing to stop COVID. Nor did it reduce the severity of the virus, as these dishonest CDC officials claimed, since the variant involved is known to be harmless, essentially nothing more than a variation of a cold.

This dishonest claim only underlines the overall intellectual dishonesty of almost all health officials and government researchers from the beginning of the Wuhan panic, a dishonesty now highlighted by the retraction of more than 300 COVID peer-reviewed papers.

According to Gunnveig Grødeland, a senior researcher at the Institute of Immunology at the University of Oslo, many researchers took ethical shortcuts when writing their essays. “It will, of course, be withdrawn when it is found that ethical guidelines have been breached,” Grødeland quipped to Khrono, an academic news publication.

Grødeland states that there were other reasons articles were pulled, including researchers using too small sample size and new media outlets being deceptive about what the papers actually concluded. Sometimes the data changed, and articles were later retracted.

Putting aside these unfortunate facts about the corruption of science, let’s go back to the essentials. COVID was always nothing more than a new type of respiratory flu-like illness. Such new strains are always more virulent in their early stages. In the past, society allowed these new flu varients to quickly spread among the younger safe population even as they routinely acted to protect the elderly and the sick from infection. At the same time, the new strains would mutate to eventually become a variation of the common cold, which is what COVID is now.

It is long past time to stop being so afraid of this thing.

“They lied to us about absolutely everything,” he said. “They lied to us about the magnitude of the public health emergency which never existed. They lied to us about the necessity of having measures like lockdowns, mass testing, social distancing, masks and it goes on and on.”

Nothing Yeadon says contradicts anything that any reasonable and cool-headed individual might have concluded, from day one of the panic. However, the advice of reasonable and cool-headed individuals was the last thing wanted from most governments and health officials worldwide. Nor was most of the general public interested either. Instead, fear ruled, and that fear was then used by a lot of corrupt power-hungry officials to garner more power for themselves, all to the detriment of everyone else.

Nor am I speaking out of turn. I have spent the last three years documenting the foolishness, the failure, and the downright ugliness of the COVID response. Today is simply another update covering the last two months. And sadly, the new data simply reinforces again and again what Yeadon says.

Masks

Surprise! They don’t work! Of course, this isn’t a surprise, as research for the past hundred years has shown repeatedly that masks do nothing to stop the transmission of respiratory illnesses. Moreover, that research had shown for decades that masks were also unhealthy, that even if used with exact correctness (something difficult to do) they restricted breathing and were a bad idea for people with lung or heart issues. And if the masks were used improperly (as shown in the WHO graphic here and which is what everyone did improperly during the panic) they became unsanitary carriers of pathogens in the very place you breathed.

New research — required because so many health officials were ignorant of that past research — has now confirmed that past research. Some examples:

• Cochrane study: Based on more than 600K participants, masks did nothing to reduce the spread of disease
• Study: “In the absence of strong empirical evidence of effectiveness, mask wearing should not be mandated let alone enforced by law.”
• The harm caused by masks
• German government admits there’s no evidence face masks work
• School district to pay $400K and conduct employee training for imposing mask mandate illegally during Wuhan panic

What makes these conclusions even more infuriating is how politics frequently interfered with their distribution. For example, publication of the Cochrane study above was held up for seven months, apparently because the publishers feared the violent reaction of the goons and thugs who now control scientific research. These goons do not like to see results published that they disagree with, and do some ugly things to destroy anyone who dares to do so.

Yet, none of these results are any different than the research from decades earlier, which found that masks don’t work, they never worked, and they restrict oxygen supply while increasing the unhealthy exposure to carbon dioxide, even as they expose the wearer to a higher level of pathogens easily captured because of their normal unsanitary use.

Has this new data made a difference? Maybe so. It is unlikely any government will be successful in the future in imposing a mask mandate. I guarantee however that these facts will do nothing to change the irrational and fear-driven actions of the people in this video, captured during the past three years. Maybe the stupidest was the woman rowing by herself in the ocean, wearing a mask.

The COVID jab

These experimental drugs were forced on millions, when the data beforehand strongly suggested they wouldn’t work, and carried health risks. We now know without doubt that they didn’t work, and have killed thousands and thousands of young people.

While the Swiss government has reviewed this data and abandoned use of the COVID jab, most other governments have refused to admit error. Thus, it is not surprising that parents in places like New York have become skeptical of all vaccines, even those that work. By advocating the use of bad drugs, governments, health officials, and the mainstream press have discredited the use of good drugs. Congratulations!

The continuing intellectual dishonesty of our so-called “elites”

When China finally ended its zero COVID policy near the end of 2022 — because it wasn’t working and was completely irrational — the journal Science immediately pushed a new study from Nature claiming that decision was going to cause “a tsunami of COVID-19 cases” in the next six months, “with 112 million symptomatic cases, 2.7 million intensive care unit (ICU) admissions, and 1.6 million deaths.”

It is now six months later, and none of this “tsunami” has happened. Though China clearly acts to repress the publication of bad news, if such horrible numbers had occurred it would have been impossible to hide it.

Like all the discredited models pushed by the major journals Science and Nature in 2020 that predicted millions of COVID deaths in the west if we didn’t social distance, lockdown, and wear masks — and were utterly wrong — Science and Nature cried wolf again in 2022, and were wrong again.

As I say, it is no wonder parents in New York are now abandoning all vaccines. They have concluded that these dishonest scientists have cried wolf too often.

This distrust is further fueled by the irrational effort by these authorities to discredit data we have known for decades that does work. For example, why did the authorities discount natural immunity during the panic, when it was always obvious that it worked best in protecting one from further infection or infecting others?

Why did health authorities act to actually discourage regular exercise by closing gyms, playgrounds, parks, skateboard parks, and other avenues of activity, when studies for decades as well as recently show exercise strengthens the immune system, making it easier for the body to fight the disease?

As one medical student, Kevin Bass, recently wrote in Newsweek, “It’s time for the scientific community to admit we were wrong about COVID and it cost lives.”

Continuing health policy following the Wuhan panic

Bass is of course right. Unfortunately, he is the exception, not the rule. The entire authoritarian ruling edifice of our society continues to refuse to admit its errors. It still thinks the emperor is wearing clothes, and rather than recognize the truth it has instead often turned on that honest child, attempting to silence him by any means necessary for daring to state the obvious.

Why else is the federal government now attempting to track those who have not gotten the jab? Such people are the equivalent of the little boy who cried “The emperor is wearing no clothes!” They didn’t buy into the orders and demands of the authorities. Methods must be found to identify them should it be necessary to silence them, as well.

Until those who panicked over COVID admit that they had panicked and take action to make amends to those they harmed in that panic, things can only get worse. Distrust will grow, and it will be increasingly difficult to publish honest research. Instead, factions will rise up to squelch countering opinions and conclusions. Politics will take over science, and the truth will die.

We are approaching a precipice. We can still step away, but it will taken humility from a lot of people who have shown no willingness to show humility.

Bring a gun to a knife fight: After a legal battle lasting more than a year, three teachers in Rhode Island have won a full victory in court after their school district fired them for refusing the COVID jab in 2021.

The school committee has agreed to full reinstatement with back pay, as well as attorney’s fees, it announced today: “The three teachers have the opportunity to return to teaching positions within the Barrington School District should they choose to do so, at the steps they would have been at had they worked continuously. Each individual will receive a payment of $33,333, along with back payments: Stephanie Hines ($65,000), Kerri Thurber ($128,000), and Brittany DiOrio ($150,000). Attorney fees totaling $50,000 will be paid to the teachers’ legal counsel.”

Piccirilli says the school has also agreed to pay punitive damages totaling $100,000 to be split three ways among the teachers. The teachers’ two-year battle with the district also took a toll on their names and reputations. The agreement requires their termination records to be expunged, Piccirilli explained today in an interview.

The teachers have been made whole in every respect, he says. It is as if they were never fired. [emphasis mine]

These three teachers join the small select group of blacklisted individuals who lost their jobs because they refused the jab but later won in court. Sadly, they are the exception, not the rule. In general, the vast majority of people hurt by all the COVID mandates — from lockdowns to jab mandates — have not been made whole. For example, even though the Biden administration has lost in court repeatedly over its attempt to force government employees to get the jab, it continues to refuse to rehire the many military and civilian employees it fired. In the case of the military this refusal is even more insane and petty, as the Pentagon has been in the last few years falling far short of its recruitment quotas.

Note also that the full announcement by the Barrington school district (available here) not only admits no error, it even underlines how correct it considered its draconian policies. Despite extensive data beginning in the summer of 2021 that the various COVID shots did nothing to prevent transmission, the district still claims everything it did was proper. To quote:

Our District was navigating an unprecedented health pandemic and leaned on the important recommendations by the CDC and the Rhode Island Department of Health to ensure the safety of our students and school community. Our then-policy helped combat the pressing public health crisis of the time, while keeping schools open, and one that nearly all faculty and staff adhered to.

Shall we count the number of lies and false statements in this one paragraph? First, COVID was not “unprecedented.” It mimicked in all ways all the past flu epidemics of new strains coming out of Asia, whether natural or man-made. Second, those government health recommendations were proven invalid almost immediately upon their issuance, and any honest-minded person could have seen it. Third, the jab never did anything to “ensure the safety” of anyone, since it did nothing to stop transmission.

Finally, add these all up and we find that the district’s “then-policy” did nothing to “combat the pressing public health crisis.” All it did was to allow these petty dictators to smash their boots into every one of their employees’ faces, forcing them to take an experimental drug against their will that has since shown to carry serious health risks.

That three teachers stood firm and won in court has apparently taught these petty dictators and control freaks nothing. Their announcement shows that government officials in Rhode Island continue to think they are gods who can do no wrong. While losing in court repeatedly, nowhere have I found any sense of remorse by any of these officials over their abuse of power. If anything, it appears they are willing to double down on that abuse. If they can’t win one way, they will try another. They appear quite willing to continue their harassment of all dissenters.

I wonder what the experience of these teachers will be should they return to their jobs. They certainly should not be surprised if they find their treatment by their superiors to be negative and hostile.
